I love this shop its called ‘Atellier’ I loved these shoes too. I really would kill for a pair but they were tres expensive!
These vintage dresses are beautiful too! Id love the figure to suit the red one but id probably have to go for the black! These are handmade by a local girl I think, her business postcards are all over the little shop so Il try and pick one up next time im in. I would LOVE to have a walk in wardrobe in a big house and it be decorated like this.. With a spiral staircase included.. of course lol
I really would love a candle tea cup set up, but its £15 – that may not seem like a lot but when you cant work you cant afford to be spending money on things that wouldnt necessarily be viewed on by the government as a living necessity when they eventually review your sick case lol.

I love all this retro wizard of oz stuff! Id love a broach!
These are the best tarts ever! The stall was from a bakery in Britany. Yum.. Yum Yum…. I got a wee apricot tart too.
Cuz im phat ![]()

Spent the rest of the day printing out photos and sticking things into my dec daily trying to figure out what i did on what days cuz I havent exactly kept track too well. Then I got distracted when i realised I have to finish my 2009 art journal before the end of the year! Really Ive just been wasting time trying to find inspiration online for christmas gifts and things. Really excited about watching Kirsties Christmas Home on Channel 4 – its alllll about crafts and cooking and things. I watched Nigella on Saturday morning too.. her christmas show was being repeated and all of it just made me soooo hungry so tomorrow Im popping to the veg shop and making me some soup. Yum!

Woo! Colourful decoratings in the dining room! I loves it
It wasnt really a lot to put up today, i think i spent more time taking pictures to be honest. The table wont be set up until christmas day – we’re having the family boxing day – so it was really random hanging decorations I was putting up. I love these colours, all to match my mums lovely pink curtains.. the rest is wooden, but all different types lol.. the bookcase is different from the piano the desk in the corner and the plate cabinet thing. So this is a picture heavy post

The image above is just a shot of the inspiration wire/decoration that hangs in our living room and two new necklaces i got from ebay which were hanging up there so they didnt get all tangled. I really need to get some sort of necklace holder organised! I absolutely love the necklaces.
This is my lovely new coat! Thrifed – £11 not too shabby!! Fully equipped with my Freckled Nest badge i got as a wee freebie when i purchased a camera strap.. i will get round to taking a picture of it.. but the weather here is really terrible and the lighting is not quite right. I love it though… this diptych can be added to my wardrobery fashion set on Flickr also! Still making the effort
These flowers are just some Dahlias that sit on the dining room/craft room table! Still feeling fairly consistent with my vintage wash and making the diptychs so woo! At least I’m motivated to get them done! I think i could also add them to that 365 project i attempted and failed miserably at, at the start of the year. It takes so much dedication! These will also be blogged on my craft blog and i also have to start making christmas presents. Today I must buy an embroidery hoop…. or il be really cross at myself. Also need to sort out my threads… Thats all for now folks!

Ive been attempting to take photos for Flickrs Wardrobe Remix pool… and make an effort with what I wear instead of just being comfy and boring all the time! Unfortunately for the pool u need to do head to toe images which isnt always easy when the tripod is nowhere to be found and working in a very small room.
This is the first diptych I created for the pool (above) and then I started doing some editing in photoshop attempting to get that more vintagey wash to my images. I also took a self portrait (below, again) and did some more editing!
I really like the way the vintage wash came out in the diptych for the wardrobe remix. i wont cross post it in the pool or anything il just keep it on my flickr and my blog. Hopefully keep it as a running theme when i start taking more photos! Been quite ill recently and nowhere interesting to dress up for
or when i am dressed nice i either dont have a camera or time for photos.
This is the first self portrait ive done like this in aaaages, trusty mirrors. This is a tiny tripod and barely supports the weight of my camera! I think my big one is at my parents somewhere… bad times. I like how this wee portrait came out and you get to see how my room looks and all the crap i have on my mirror lol. The edit is below but Im not too sure which version i prefer.

These arent part of the same series.. I think the one without feet.. is going to be part of a couple series… In my head it will be produced eventually lol. The top one is called ‘Where he belongs’.
This image (below) is actually a scan of a 6×4 photograph.. i took this photo over a year ago on a wee crappy fuji camera but i really like the effect. The scan gave it a ridiculous blue tone so I didnt really do much to achieve the vintage wash in photoshop. I just added a vignette and lightened it a little.
